Do you check your expectations before you do something?

There are so many places we go to with preconceived ideas of what the experience will be like – a visit to the doctor, the dentist, or to the accountant, to name a few. 

Think about the appointments you have this week.
What thoughts or feelings are associated with these events?
Our expectations are powerful and they are pre-paving the way for our experiences.

Do you expect the best when you think about the appointments you have this week?
Sometimes, we forget that our expectations are powerful and they set the stage for our experiences.

So, why not…

Expect ease
Expect pleasant
Expect good news

Today, we are going to expect that things are always working out for us!

Lets, get started!

Step one: Select your specific tapping topic

Step two: Rate your intensity on a scale from 1-10 (10 being the highest)

Step Three: Where do you feel this intensity in your body?

Step Four: Start tapping on the Karate Chop:

‘Even though I feel so frustrated when I think about this meeting/appointment, I deeply and completely accept myself’

  • of expecting the worst
  • and it is not serving me
  • How about if I would create
  • a new pattern
  • by changing my energy
  • on a subconscious level
  • and start expecting the best?
  • I know I have resistance
  • and disbelief about this idea

  • Could it be THAT easy?
  • I have learned
  • that life is hard
  • so why would I expect the best?
  • Getting my hopes up
  • and disappoint myself… again?
  • However, on the other hand
  • I am so tired of feeling bad
  • and I have done so much
  • powerful inner work
  • and experienced growth
  • and therefore I feel
  • I am ready
  • it is my time
  • to feel better ‘all the way’
  • I deserve things to work out for me
  • I am ready to create a new positive habit
  • One that is totally serving me
  • I imagine letting go of
  • anything and everything
  • that stands between me
  • and inner peace
  • I now release
  • anything and everything
  • that stands between me and inner peace
  • As I tap and breathe
  • I notice  releasing
  • anything and everything
  • standing between me and inner peace
  • I release now
  • all remaining tension in my body
  • whenever I think about this appointment
  • I want to feel relaxed and confident
  • This is my new focus
  • Everything is working out for me
  • Things are always working out for me
  • and since things are always working out for me
  • what other things do I want to work out for me?
  • Today, I want this appointment to work out for me
  • What would be the evidence of this working out for me?
  • My definition of things working out for me is
  • experiencing joy and ease and lightness
  • I would like to have a confidence about me
  • so when I go into this meeting
  • I feel guided
  • I would like to have good timing
  • I would like the universal forces
  • to work with me
  • I would like to look into this world
  • and have a sense of who I am
  • I would like to find
  • aspects to appreciate about this meeting
  • and set the stage in a new way
  • by having an uplifting energy
  • instead of allowing myself
  • to be dragged down by the other person
  • I imagine others being uplifted by my presence
  • and if I don’t succeed this time
  • I don’t want to feel bad
  • because like the ocean
  • I have eb and flow too
  • I want to trust my intuition
  • and the information it gives me
  • I would like to find
  • aspects to appreciate about this person
  • I want to have fun
  • I want to have clarity
  • and lots of energy
  • I want to feel good
  • and wakeup eager for the day
  • I want to sleep good
  • I ‘d like to soothe myself
  • with kind thoughts
  • I like to be in a place
  • where I know my value
  • and make great connections
  • I want to be known
  • for my positive energy
  • I want to feel so connected inside
  • with my inner confidence
  • that anything I want
  • is flowing to me
  • and anything I don’t want
  • Is flowing out of me
  • I am aligning myself
  • with the highest possible version of me
  • I expect ease
  • I expect pleasant
  • I expect good news
  • as I walk into this day and
  • as I walk into this appointment/meeting
  • And so it is!
