The reason why people do not quit in the first place is that they are not willing or able to confront the painful emotions and physiological symptoms that surface as a result of relinquishing their habits of smoking cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, or even nicotine gum.
Anyone can quit smoking for a week. Without addressing the deeper emotional drives, picking up cigarettes again, or replacing them with food is inevitable.
In this Program you will find a plan and protocol, whether you are a hard core or fair weather smoker, so that you can quit for the last time!
Why use EFT for Smoking Cessation?
- EFT has the power to address every single issue you must face when trying to quit. Unlike other quit smoking methods, EFT covers all the bases and can be reapplied when necessary.
- EFT is used for your immediate cigarette cravings with consistent success. Reducing the urgency to light a cigarette buys you time, providing a mini-intervention so the craving can pass and you can make the choice to remain smoke-free.
- EFT is enormously effective in reducing the painful and sometimes hidden emotions that have been driving the need to smoke and that surface when the cigarettes are put aside. Without this particular intervention, relapse, sooner or later, is inevitable.
- People are often afraid of experiencing physiological withdrawal symptoms. EFT can be used to neutralize these uncomfortable physical feelings as well as neutralize the anxious anticipation of them.
- Eliminating immediate cravings and neutralizing emotions is essential to long-term success in a quit smoking program. In addition, if future potential relapse situations are not addressed, you will ultimately resume the habit. EFT can help you identify as well as neutralize these potential hazards, arming you with an invaluable tool for long term success.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN THIS 9-HOUR PROGRAM:
CLASS 1
Please bring your cigarettes to the Class. We will tap on immediate cravings!
It is not necessary to try to quit before the First Class. I want you to experience in our First Class the ease with which EFT can help you eliminate your immediate cravings. You also will learn:
- How to use EFT for Quit Smoking, the Basic Recipe, and Treatment Points
- How Psychological Reversal inhibits progress, and how to change it
- How to eliminate Limiting beliefs with EFT about smoking and success
- Identify your favorite times of the day to smoke and treat them with EFT
- Class Demonstration (on a volunteer basis) how to address underlying feelings of not deserving, not feeling safe, feeling deprived and many more
CLASS TWO
Class Demonstration (on volunteer basis) tapping on Emotional Themes like Loneliness, Anger, Anxiety, Fear and more
You will learn how to:
- Use the Forgiveness Technique to eliminate guilt, shame, and low self-esteem.
- How to deal with withdrawal symptoms using EFT
- How to prevent Relapse with EFT
- How to use End-Result Imagery to set yourself up for Success in the Future
CLASS THREE
You will learn how to use the ChoiceS Method to increase your chances of success dramatically.
- Class Demonstration (on volunteer basis) blocks to quit Smoking Visualization
- Class Demonstration (on volunteer basis) ‘Why I can’t quit Smoking’
- End Result Imagery Exercise
- Follow-up Fieldwork to take home
